Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Compatly is built by Atlantis Services. This policy covers data collected through compatly's website and API. It doesn't cover third-party sites we link to, like Google's own privacy policy or your payment processor's.

2. Data we collect

• • Account data — the email address, display name, and a stable Google account identifier that Google gives us when you sign in. We never see or store your Google password.
• • Billing data — your credit balance, a ledger of every credit/debit against it, and deposit records (amount, status, and a reference ID from the payment processor). We don't handle or store your card, wallet, or crypto private key details — those stay with the payment processor.
• • Job data — the plugin jar you upload, the software/version matrix you selected, and the resulting console logs, exceptions, and pass/fail results for each test target.
• • Technical data — basic request logs (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) kept for security and debugging.

3. How we use it

To run your account and authenticate you, to run the test jobs you submit and show you the results, to track and enforce your credit balance, to detect abuse of the Service (like jars designed to attack our infrastructure), and to fix bugs when something breaks. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

4. Third parties

• • Google — handles sign-in. We receive your email, name, and account ID after you authenticate; we never receive your Google password.
• • Payment processor (for crypto deposits) — handles the actual payment and currency conversion. They receive what's necessary to process your deposit; we receive confirmation and a reference ID, not your payment credentials.
• • Infrastructure providers — our servers and the ephemeral test instances your jar runs on are hosted on infrastructure we operate. Test instances are network-isolated from each other and from the rest of our systems.

We don't share your account or billing data with anyone else.

5. Data retention

Uploaded jars and their test instances are ephemeral — the server instance is destroyed as soon as your test run finishes. We keep the jar file itself, job metadata, and console logs for a limited period afterward so you can review results and re-download logs, then remove them. Account, credit ledger, and deposit records are kept for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed for accounting and legal obligations.

6. Cookies

We use exactly one cookie: an encrypted session cookie that keeps you signed in. It's essential to the Service working and isn't used for tracking or advertising, and we don't use any third-party analytics or ad cookies.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to see what account data we hold on you, correct it, or delete your account and associated data (aside from records we're required to keep for accounting purposes, like the credit ledger). Reach out using the contact details below to make a request.

8. Children's privacy

Compatly is a developer tool and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required to hold a Google account in their country.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
